About the position

The Music Center is seeking a Production Project Manager to oversee and execute capital improvement projects and manage productions within its operations team. This role requires strong project leadership skills and collaboration with various departments and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery while aligning with the organization's core values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all assigned production projects and events strategically.
• Lead the planning and implementation of projects, including creating timelines, budgets, and staffing workflows.
• Innovate processes for production and event management to streamline efforts and support partners.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to align on project deliverables.
• Coordinate project expectations and conditions of satisfaction with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with TMC Arts Producing Department for production coordination and site support.
• Create event layouts, production schedules, and vendor timelines.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory permitting and safety standards for events.
• Procure production subcontractors and maintain vendor relationships.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management within a production environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to create and manage budgets and timelines effectively.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in event production.
