About the position

The Production Quality Assurance Associate at FIS Global plays a crucial role in ensuring that all products are ready for shipment to customers. This position involves a meticulous review of work to confirm that everything is accurate, including stock levels, contents in envelopes, addresses, and service level agreement (SLA) dates. The associate will be responsible for troubleshooting and researching any production issues that arise, verifying file totals before processing, and auditing calculations post-processing to ensure accuracy. In addition to these responsibilities, the associate will perform file verifications to confirm that the correct number of items have been processed and that all necessary postage and inserts are included for outgoing mailings. The role also includes shipping packages to clients using various courier services such as USPS, UPS, DHL, or FedEx, and tracking these packages as needed. Maintaining records and files, tracking quality control issues in the appropriate databases, and assisting less-experienced peers are also key components of this position. The associate may be required to train new team members and will perform administrative duties such as filing and data entry as needed. This is a second shift position, operating from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory work on the first weekend of every month and two weekends at the end of each quarter. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in a quality assurance role, demonstrating proficiency in basic office equipment and applications relevant to the discipline. The ability to work under firm deadlines, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots and researches production issues.
  • Verifies file totals prior to processing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year experience with a quality assurance role.
  • Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and tools as well as applications specific to discipline.
  • Ability to work well in an environment with firm deadlines; results oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in an organized manner and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Team skills including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, and the public.
  • Requires ability to stand for lengthy periods of time and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Nice-to-haves
