About the position

The Production Operator is a key member of the Manufacturing team responsible for the production of high-quality active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). This role involves executing manufacturing documents and performing various tasks such as weighing and dispensing chemicals, conducting chemical reactions, and ensuring product quality and consistency. The position requires adherence to cGMP standards and involves working in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing documents related to the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
• Weigh and dispense chemicals accurately.
• Conduct chemical reactions at high temperatures and pressures.
• Mix, filter, dry, and package products according to specifications.
• Ensure all products meet the required purity, quality, and consistency standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work environment.
• Operate basic electronic equipment and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Competence in operating basic electronic equipment and possessing basic computer skills.
• Experience interacting with Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
• Physical ability to exert force continuously and/or lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical environment or regulated industry.
• College coursework in science.
• Compounding experience.
