About the position

The Production Quality Technician at Vernet US is responsible for ensuring the quality of production processes and products. This role involves analyzing production scraps, implementing measurement and control methods, and participating in the 8D resolution process. The technician will work in a temperature-controlled environment and is expected to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Identify, propose and implement improvements in production quality.
• Technically analyze product non-conformity and write analysis reports.
• Archive returned products after analysis.
• Define specific control means adapted to the control process if necessary.
• Perform dimensional and functional control of products.
• Carry out product qualification as per product qualification planning.
• Conduct internal audits according to the Layered Process Audit schedule.
• Validate and monitor action plans until they are closed.
• Perform any other work assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of quality expertise in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and internal audit processes.
• Capability to use control means and expertise in quality assurance.
• Familiarity with 8D problem-solving methods and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Ability to frequently position and transport equipment weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
