Responsibilities
- Perform operational tests and determine product acceptability and quality on a wide variety of medium to complex electronic developmental and production components, subassemblies and stems.
- Require Phase Network Analyzer (PNA) or Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) experience, as well as RF tuning skill to the device level.
- Perform set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
- Determine and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams to ensure conformance, performing rework as required.
- Prepare technical reports, summarize findings and recommend solutions to technical problems.
- Assist in selecting and setting-up specialized test equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum: HS Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of experience in this area of responsibility to include tuning of RF circuits.
- Set up, calibration, and operation of Phase Network Analyzer (PNA) or Vector Network Analyzer (VNA).
- Able to work under a microscope using hand tools and measurement tools.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance.
Nice-to-haves
- Associate's Degree preferred.
- Experience in defense, aerospace or military setting.
- Current solder experience (J-STD certification).
- Able to interpret and understand instructions, including technical drawings.
