About The Position
The Production Rover position at STM Canna involves a variety of responsibilities centered around assisting with production processes and supporting shop tasks in the assembly area, inventory management, and shipping operations. This role is crucial for ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing process. The Production Rover will be expected to prep and assemble components, build, inspect, and test products according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Attention to detail is essential, as the individual will need to inspect and document parts and assemblies for conformance, clearly marking accepted and non-conforming items as per SOPs. In addition to assembly tasks, the Production Rover will be responsible for receiving and stocking delivered materials, retrieving materials from vendors when necessary, and purchasing additional materials to support production, shipping, and other departments as needed. The role also includes building crates and assisting with shipping preparation, which requires physical strength and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. The position demands a clean driving record and experience driving a manual transmission vehicle with a trailer attached, as transporting materials is a key part of the job. Duties may evolve and expand based on individual performance and the growth of the company, making adaptability and a willingness to learn important traits for success in this role.
