About the position

The Production Services Support role at BNY Mellon is a critical position within the Technology Services team, focusing on managing and supporting the bank's network infrastructure. This hybrid role allows for a combination of in-office and remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring the stability and performance of network and video services. The position involves troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and acting as a liaison for stakeholders, contributing to the overall efficiency and security of the bank's operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and manage the bank network infrastructure components such as routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, web proxies, load-balancers, and DNS.
• Maximize the use of toolsets to identify technical issues and performance problems on any type of media resources.
• Resolve faults and failures in network infrastructure.
• Lead root cause analysis and apply necessary solutions to technical issues.
• Act as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for any technical queries.
• Remediate vulnerabilities across a wide range of Video/Network Technology services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8 - 10 years of related infrastructure experience required.
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
• Extensive hands-on network implementation and troubleshooting experience.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostic, and analytics tools.
• Solid understanding of BGP routing protocols.
• Cisco CCNP or equivalent knowledge.
