We are currently seeking Solder Operators / Production Operators who are interested in building components essential to aerospace, defense, medical, and commercial applications. This position involves assembling, disassembling, soldering, and repairing electronic assemblies in a flexible manufacturing environment in accordance with standardized processes, procedures, or methods. Employees will perform routine and/or repetitive operations in a fully air-conditioned facility, working day shifts Monday through Thursday with some overtime on Fridays and/or Saturdays. As a Solder Operator/Production Operator, you will be responsible for building and soldering electronic circuit boards to class 2 and class 3 requirements in accordance with J-STD. You will solder and install components, wires, and adhesives on PC Boards, read and work from assembly processes, procedures, engineering drawings, and specifications, and perform inspection of your work and the work of your co-workers. This position may require frequent movement throughout the manufacturing operation and the use of various tools and equipment, including hand tools, gauges, and crimping tools. The ideal candidate will be quality conscious, possess the ability to meet production and quality standards, and be able to solve practical problems. We are an ITAR Controlled Facility, and all applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
