About the position

The Production Specialist - Custom Media Generation is a junior-level role at NV5 Geospatial, focused on providing GEOINT support to clients through the electronic transfer and delivery of Foundation GEOINT content. This position involves collaborating with a team of geospatial experts to assist clients in selecting the best data/product combinations for their needs, managing the full life cycle of orders, and maintaining and developing tools to modernize dissemination processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct GEOINT support to clients through the electronic transfer and delivery of Foundation GEOINT content.
• Assist clients in determining the best data/product combinations to meet their remote data or data sharing needs.
• Participate in the full life cycle of each order from initial client contact through shipment and confirmation of delivery receipt.
• Maintain and update current tools and code in support of existing Custom Media processes.
• Develop new tools and custom code to keep pace with dissemination modernization efforts.

Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of geospatial/geographic/cartographic products and data types such as maps, elevation data, imagery products, and vector data.
• Knowledge of satellite imagery systems and related information libraries.
• Experience with geospatial software systems like FalconView, Global Mapper, ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience acquiring, replicating, and disseminating large datasets on removable media.
• Familiarity with mission partners, military services, COCOMs, and IC.
• Demonstrated experience with process improvement techniques.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree.
