About the position
The Production Specialist role at Aerotek involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, primarily responsible for the efficient handling and assembly of pots produced by molding machines. The position requires quick counting and stacking of products to meet production standards, ensuring that the pots are properly organized for transport to the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Pick pots as they are fed off of molding machines.
- Count pots to a certain point to assemble 'towers' of the pots to the correct height.
- Rapidly stack products onto a skid for transporting to the warehouse.
- Band and tie pots together with connectors to hold the stacks in place on the skids.
Requirements
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting where machinery is running.
- At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing.
Nice-to-haves
- Great references and a positive attitude.
- Eagerness to work in manufacturing.
- Ability to meet production standards within a 30-day plan.
