About the position

The Production Staff position involves manual assembly line work focused on bundling and packing various types of ties. The role requires attention to detail to ensure that products meet specified quality standards and job specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform standing assembly line work.
• Manually bundle and pack twist-ties, gang-ties, or label-ties.
• Read and check job sheets to verify labels for correct item numbers, case packs, and descriptions.
• Ensure ties meet specifications listed on the job sheet, including color, print, length, and width.
• Stand at the catcher station on the assembly line to bundle or place ties into cartons or boxes.
• Inspect ties for quality as they come off the machine, ensuring they are bonded and printed correctly on both sides.
• Notify the operator of any quality issues and place unacceptable ties in the scrap trash can.
• Accurately account for the number of bundles necessary to complete cases, ensuring no omissions or excess ties are produced.
