About the position

As part of the talented Lowe Boats team, you will supervise a department within Lowe Boats to produce boats from start to finish including departments such as Fishboat, Fabrication, Pontoon, or Roughneck. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the production floor to ensure high quality boats are being produced safely and efficiently.
• Ensure employees are scheduled to hit sales demands, approving time off requests, and coaching performance.
• Lead and drive a culture of continuous improvement, including routinely drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions to problems identified throughout the day.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience managing a team including scheduling, supervising, training, mentoring and directing staff.
• Must demonstrate effective leadership and interpersonal skills as well as proven experience requiring inter-departmental communication and coordination to effectively achieve the company's objectives and targets within budget.
• Understanding of and proficiency in lean, change management and business process management methodologies.
• Exceptional computer skills including MS Office and proficiency with standard software packages required.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline strongly preferred.
• Lean six sigma Green Belt preferred.
