About The Position
The Production Supervisor at Carlisle Interconnect Technologies is responsible for overseeing the production department's activities in the manufacture of Poly Iso Insulation and related products. This role requires a hands-on approach, as the supervisor will also fill in on various jobs within the plant as needed. The supervisor will lead a team of production employees, ensuring that all operations align with safety regulations and production goals. This position involves coaching and developing employees, conducting performance reviews, and maintaining documentation related to incidents and disciplinary actions. The supervisor will also be responsible for quality control, inspecting materials for defects, and ensuring that the plant maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization. In addition to supervising production staff, the Production Supervisor will coordinate activities within the department, implement plans to achieve yearly goals, and oversee the use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) software on the production line. The role requires the creation and management of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training documents, as well as assisting in the training of all production personnel. The supervisor must be knowledgeable about safe disposal practices for waste chemicals and will be expected to present updates during Tier Meetings. This position demands a strong understanding of production processes, safety protocols, and effective leadership skills. The supervisor will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork, ensuring that all employees are engaged and working towards common objectives.
