About the position

The Production Supervisor at TC Transcontinental is responsible for leading a team of up to 30 members in the Flexographic Printing, Laminating, and Converting operation at the Lenexa facility. This role focuses on overseeing daily operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost-efficiency while fostering a collaborative work environment to meet production targets and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to meet production targets while ensuring adherence to internal quality and safety standards.
• Foster a safe work environment by coordinating team safety activities and driving efforts to meet or exceed KPI goals.
• Motivate, mentor, and train team members in alignment with TC Lenexa's culture.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating across the plant to meet or exceed production and cost targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years supervising direct reports.
• An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred, along with 3 years of experience in wide web flexible packaging.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor teams effectively.
