About the position

The Production Supervisor at Bimbo Bakeries USA is responsible for leading and developing associates in a high-speed production environment. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The supervisor will track production data and performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and development of associates to foster a culture of safety, inclusion, engagement, and accountability.
• Ensure safe and on-time production of high-quality baked goods by adhering to GMPs and SOPs.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools and Root Cause Analysis.
• Track and report on production data to evaluate performance against KPIs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience leading manufacturing teams in a high-speed production environment.
• Food industry experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills focused on associate development and accountability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office products and ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience with 5S and LEAN tools is highly preferred.
