About the position

The Production Support role at Crystal Finishing Systems is a critical position within the Extrusion department, focused on ensuring the quality and efficiency of production processes. This entry-level position operates Monday to Friday and involves various tasks related to material preparation, inspection, and packaging, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Operates the head/tail stretcher to straighten and prepare material for the finishing saw.
• Continuously inspects material for any non-conforming issues.
• Uses proper gauges when stretching material.
• Assists with simple maintenance and repair on the presses.
• Operates table controls to move material.
• Actively watches and inspects products for quality issues.
• Packages material according to customer specifications by counting, stacking, bundling, securing, and labeling.

Requirements

• Knowledge of production operations and experience in a manufacturing environment beneficial.
• Ability to read and operate a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer helpful.
• Entry level computer experience useful.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous work experience on an extrusion press is preferred, but not required.
