About the position

As a Production Support Analyst at Deutsche Bank, you will be part of the production services team within the Trade Finance and Lending domain. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support for applications and platforms, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure maximum application availability. You will also engage in initiatives to automate processes and improve monitoring, while participating in incident and change management meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for a suite of applications/platforms.
• Resolve service requests submitted by application end users to Level 2 (L2) ability and escalate unresolved issues to Level 3 (L3).
• Conduct real-time monitoring to ensure application Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved.
• Update the RUN Book and Knowledge Base articles as required.
• Participate in all Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and component failure tests.

Requirements

• Experience with programming languages such as Java.
• Familiarity with operating systems like UNIX and Windows.
• Knowledge of middleware technologies (e.g., MQ, Kafka).
• Experience with web server environments (e.g., Apache, Tomcat).
• Proficiency in databases such as Oracle, MS-SQL, Sybase, and NoSQL.
• Experience with batch monitoring tools like Control-M or Autosys.
• Scripting experience in UNIX shell, PowerShell, PERL, or Python.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Geneos, App Dynamics, Dynatrace, or Grafana.
• Understanding of ITIL Service Management framework.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience in large corporate environments, particularly in controlled production environments or Financial Services Technology.
• Experience with ticketing tools like Service Desk or Service Now.
• Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts.
