About the position

As an Electrical Engineer II at Raytheon, you will support production for advanced RADAR products, specifically for the Silent Knight Program. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and process issues, analyzing test data, and ensuring production turnaround times are met. You will work closely with a team of engineers and be responsible for resolving issues on production line test sets, requiring both technical expertise and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels including analog/digital/RF/power circuitry and interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot test sets down to component level including analog and digital interfaces, and software.
  • Resolve issues on production line test sets in NTX and other sites, requiring travel to Forest and other locations.
  • Work in a team environment to ensure production and sustainment turnaround time is met.
  • Analyze test data of products to ensure test specifications are met.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, including assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, and schematics.

Requirements

  • A University Degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with electronics and electrical circuits, isolating failures to root cause.
  • Proficient in lab equipment such as multimeters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance; existing secret security clearance is required on day 1.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to support multiple site locations operations in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-based production environment.
  • Experience on supplier engagement.
  • Experience with documenting test results and repair recommendations clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with Mentor Graphics, Matlab, or PSPICE.
