About the position

The Production Support position at LiDestri Foods, Inc. is an entry-level role focused on assisting production workers in maintaining operational efficiency and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The role involves ensuring that accurate ingredients are delivered to the production area and supporting various production tasks during the 3rd shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to production workers.
• Ensure accurate ingredients are delivered to the production area.
• Maintain GMP standards at and around machinery.
• Perform Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned work areas.
• Assist with Clean-In-Place (CIP) processes as required.
• Relieve operators as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities.
• Report food safety and quality problems to authorized personnel.

Requirements

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net, Kevlar gloves, safety training, and leather skid resistant work shoes/boots).
• Chemical training and Lockout/Tagout (LO/TO) certification, may require use of a forklift.
• Basic computer and communication skills, including math functions and reasoning abilities.
• Ability to use various tools such as band cutters, dump tanks, tote hoists, knives, and scales.
