About the position

The Production Support role at the Alexandria, LA manufacturing facility involves assembling mechanical assemblies, testing products, and performing shipping and receiving duties. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical assemblies per work instructions.
• Read and comprehend drawings.
• Use and understand the use of special test equipment such as calipers and torque wrenches.
• Follow special instructions and document all quality check sheets.
• Test end product and troubleshoot and repair as necessary.
• Follow instructions and meet objectives, with little or no direct supervision.
• Capture time and materials on work orders accurately.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties.
• Assemble and repair canisters for use in DOSIS machines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic knowledge of MS Office skills
• Mechanical/Electrical skills required
• Knowledge of hand tools required
• Inventory experience

Nice-to-haves

• Manufacturing/production experience preferred
• Automation/Robotics background helpful
