About the position

The Production Lead / Warehouse Manager at Millennium Systems Services, Inc. (MSSI) is responsible for managing and overseeing assigned programs related to production, storage, warehousing, and inventory control. This role involves collaborating with various internal departments to ensure the successful execution of programs from inception to completion, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The position requires a strong understanding of government accountability systems and the ability to manage inventory effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and take ownership of assigned programs and contracts.
  • Direct all phases of assigned programs from inception through completion.
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction by meeting corporate deliverables.
  • Oversee production, storage, warehousing, and inventory control tasks.
  • Utilize government accountability systems for inventory management.
  • Support warehouse management to maintain inventory on a yearly basis.
  • Secure and maintain the warehouse and its inventory.
  • Provide storage for procured hardware and Government Furnished Property (GFP).
  • Maintain control of all items procured in support of production delivery orders.
  • Establish sustainable operations schedules: weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Manage staffing schedules and support ramp-up plans.
  • Oversee cost, schedule, and performance of contract and subcontract personnel.
  • Work with the Contracting Officer to achieve established goals and objectives.
  • Drive initiatives for achieving established objectives and recommend solutions to problems.
  • Provide management services including administrative oversight and financial tracking.
  • Manage staff performance reviews and daily tasks.
  • Utilize customer satisfaction surveys to manage relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual Labor Category requirements and QMS.
  • Develop and improve business processes for the program.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of relevant experience, or a BS/BA and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and ability to create and update reports for management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Priority military experience (i.e., MOS 11C, supply and logistics experience).
