About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and a passion for driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of manufacturing operators to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Coordinate and prioritize workflow to ensure efficient operation of the manufacturing process.
• Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Train new team members on standard operating procedures and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to identify and implement process enhancements.
• Challenge the status quo to level up the team and the process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Approve time and attendance for accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and direction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
• Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making, with a focus on driving results.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends as needed.
