About the position

The Production Team Member position at On Time Staffing involves performing assembly, material handling, and rework tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role is crucial for producing automotive seat systems, requiring adherence to specific processes and quality standards. Team members will utilize various tools and equipment while collaborating with others to maintain workflow and ensure product quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, material handling, and rework tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow all processes and procedures associated with the Production Department to produce seats.
• Assemble metal, foam, fabric/leather, and electronic components using hand, pneumatic, and electric tools.
• Read, interpret, and follow work orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Maintain a consistent work pace and perform tasks within required time.
• Perform various operational tasks to maintain positive workflow in the Production Department.
• Conduct material handling functions to maintain inventory and move products through production.
• Perform quality checks and recognize defective parts to ensure product specifications are met.
• Write production reports and track parts and scrap as required.
• Adhere to quality policies and standards such as ISO 9001, TS16949, IATF16949.
• Follow 5S principles to keep the work site clean and organized.
• Collaborate with team members and leaders to contribute to team goals.
• Attend all required training and comply with company policies.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in assembly preferred.
• Previous job-related experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred (not required).
• Teamwork oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
