About the position
The Production Team Partner - Truck Loader at UniFirst plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the production department by preparing trucks for product deliveries. This position offers on-the-job training and emphasizes a strong work-life balance with weekends off, while also providing opportunities for career growth within the company.
Responsibilities
- Load garments and additional facility service products onto trucks in preparation for route deliveries
- Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines
- Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
Requirements
- High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate machinery
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units in weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
