About The Position
GrowHealthy is a leading player in Florida's medical marijuana industry, dedicated to cultivating and delivering high-quality medical marijuana products. We are currently seeking Production Technicians to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be integral to the production process, ensuring that our plants meet the highest standards of quality and comply with state regulations. As a Production Technician, you will engage in various tasks including harvesting, trimming, and packaging plants, all while adhering to company guidelines and state compliance requirements. Our production team operates on a 4-day workweek, with shifts available from Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday, working 10 hours each day. The Production Department encompasses the essential functions of Harvest, Trimming, and Packaging, and is responsible for maintaining the efficiency and quality of our plants in preparation for sale. The ideal candidate will possess strong manual dexterity and the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods. You will be expected to meet production minimum standards, which include packaging over 80 units or trimming more than 1.5 pounds of product daily, all while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). This position requires a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, as well as the ability to perform various physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, and lifting. Working conditions may involve exposure to various environmental factors including dirt, fertilizers, dust, odors, and varying temperatures. The role demands a high level of self-management and time management skills, as you will encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs, as well as standing on a concrete floor for up to 8 hours a day. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a Florida Department of Law Enforcement Level 2 Background Screening. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory.
