About The Position

As a Production Technician I at AstraZeneca, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of life-changing medicines. This position involves operating processing equipment in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). You will be part of a team dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation in the Supply Chain, contributing to the treatment of various medical conditions globally.

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience with a High School Diploma; or 1+ years with an Associate's degree; or 2+ years with a Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively on assigned tasks.
• Ability to comply with cGMP standards.
• Must possess computer skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and directions.
• Prior experience with aseptic/cGMP standards and bioprocessing work environments is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• BS/BA degree in a STEM field preferred.
• Prior experience or exposure to aseptic/cGMP standards and environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment according to established SOPs, MPRs, and SPRs in compliance with cGMPs.
• Prepare solutions, perform cell culture, purification, and formulation activities.
• Train with a qualified Technician on operating process equipment and achieve qualification.
• Follow and execute cGMP documentation and utilize Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Contribute to problem-solving activities for non-routine production floor tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities for Manufacturing.
