Production Technician

About the position

As a Production Technician at Ball Corporation, you will be an integral part of a production crew in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your role involves operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols. This position requires collaboration with team members and a commitment to ethical practices, contributing to the overall success of the production area.

Responsibilities

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including food safety and emergency procedures.
• Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.
• Assist with performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Inspect aluminum for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating and communicating.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years' work experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
