About the position
The Production Technician at Linde Gases US is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of cryogenic air separation plants and associated systems. This role requires a combination of technical skills and safety-focused actions to ensure reliable production and maintenance of gas and cryogenic liquid systems. The technician will work under minimal supervision, collaborating with various teams to facilitate operations and repairs while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Commission, operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot gas and cryogenic liquid production systems.
- Perform plant shutdowns and start-ups using approved procedures.
- Assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and rebuilding industrial instruments including transmitters and process control systems.
- Propose, prepare, and execute projects to improve equipment availability and reliability or reduce operational costs.
- Read and maintain P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams in compliance with company and customer policies.
- Troubleshoot electrical infrastructure and equipment.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License.
- Associate's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in organizational skills.
