About the position

The Production Trainer at ATC Drivetrain LLC is responsible for training new and existing employees in accordance with the established training program. This role also involves working on the production line when not engaged in training activities, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a safe work environment by ensuring employees are knowledgeable of hazards and required personal protective equipment.
• Ensures that employee training and cross-training follows the established training program and operating instructions (OIs).
• Assists in the training of new or revised procedures or processes to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Helps find and document errors in operating instructions for corrections.
• Develops employee skill sets by sharing knowledge of product and process characteristics.
• Supports new employees and trainers with guidance and information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain tasks and procedures clearly and listen actively.
• Computer skills to locate operating instructions and use production software.
