About the position

The Production Transition and Support Manager at TSC is responsible for overseeing the transition of products from development to production, ensuring that all processes are efficiently managed. This role involves direct support for the production organization, including new product introduction and production support, while managing multiple teams across various engineering and operations disciplines. The manager will work closely with stakeholders to meet production objectives and maintain a smooth workflow for TSC's RF sensors, radars, and seekers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the transition of products and systems from development to production.
• Create transition plans and schedules to meet production and customer needs for a product.
• Work with stakeholders to meet objectives through various meetings and status reports.
• Oversee production support to prevent production downtime due to assembly or test issues.
• Develop response teams for each product line to provide clear lines of responsibility.
• Provide production debug and root cause analysis support.
• Manage the support team made up of test engineering, manufacturing engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and NPI engineering.
• Coordinate with the quality team to support transition efforts, root cause analysis, and process updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5-8 years of industry experience including new product introduction and product transition.
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Experience with production support roles in manufacturing engineering and test engineering.
