Amwins Access - Admitted Placement Services (APS) is seeking a Production Underwriter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of commercial account management experience in a retail insurance agency or wholesaler environment. Familiarity with commercial admitted carrier products and rating platforms is preferred, along with a Property & Casualty license. Insurance designations are appreciated and will be considered a plus. Amwins offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $110,000, along with eligibility for an industry-leading bonus plan. Responsibilities

  • Liaise with carrier personnel and retail agents daily to assist with placement, retention, and resolution of risks by quoting and binding accounts.
  • Develop agency marketing plans to drive new business production and renewal retention with a customer-oriented focus.
  • Sell and distribute Amwins Admitted products including in-person agency visits to develop that business.
  • Build relationships with agencies and analyze accounts to prioritize opportunities.
  • Develop highly collaborative internal relationships and follow-up on cross-selling opportunities when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of commercial account management experience in a retail insurance agency or wholesaler environment preferred.
  • Experience with commercial admitted carrier products and rating platforms.
  • Property & Casualty license preferred.
  • Insurance designations appreciated.
