About the position

Job&Talent is seeking an On-Site Manager for the world-class UPS Mail Innovations in Windsor, CT. This position is crucial for overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring that the facility runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse management experience and be bilingual in Spanish and English, which is a plus. The role requires managing and overseeing a team of 50 or more employees, anticipating staffing requirements, and meeting client expectations. The On-Site Manager will be responsible for providing productivity reports, headcount, attendance, and other necessary documentation at the client's request. In this role, you will manage employee relations at the site, which includes coaching, counseling, conducting performance reviews, and handling terminations. You will ensure that the warehouse floor is properly staffed and operated, focusing on key performance indicators such as Fill Rate, Cost Per Piece, Miss Sorts, and On-Time Attendance. Additionally, you will document terminations for unemployment purposes and proactively communicate staffing needs to the National Resource Center (NRC). Developing contingency plans for unexpected events is also a critical part of this role. The On-Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all On-Site Coordinator duties are performed to standards and will take ownership of the business operations. This includes hiring and training leads, quality control personnel, and forklift drivers, with forklift experience being a plus. Responsibilities
