About the position

We are seeking professional and sharp Productions Assistants/Videographers to support our team at an international ballroom dance competition taking place at the Sunseeker Resort in Charlotte Harbor, FL, from September 19-21. This role involves manning cameras and assisting with video work during the event. While prior video experience is not extensive, candidates will receive training before the event begins on Thursday. All necessary equipment will be provided, and no personal equipment is required. Candidates will be assigned to positions based on their ability to perform the most relevant tasks. The work environment is engaging and fun, with many sporadic breaks throughout the day, including longer dinner breaks in the evening. Lunch, snacks, and water will be provided to all team members. The hours and pay rates are as follows: Thursday from 3 PM to 10 PM, Friday from 8:30 AM to 11:45 PM (with a 2.5-hour dinner break), and Saturday from 8 AM to midnight (with a 3.5-hour dinner break). The pay rate is $18 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 3 hours for the days you are hired. Payment will be made via check, Venmo, or the Square Cash App at the end of your last shift of the weekend. Due to the high-end clientele at this event, all team members must adhere to specific grooming and etiquette standards. This includes wearing business-professional attire in all black, ensuring that clothing is well-fitted and ironed, and maintaining a clean and professional appearance. Hair should be styled neatly, and any facial hair must be well-groomed. Additionally, tattoos must be covered, and face piercings should be removed during the job. As cameras will be rolling continuously, team members are expected to maintain a mature and respectful demeanor, avoiding unnecessary communication with competitors and consuming food only in designated areas. Candidates must be available for a phone interview and should respond via email with their phone number and a brief explanation of why they believe they would be a good fit for this position.
