About the position

We are seeking professional and sharp assistants to support our team at an international ballroom dance competition taking place at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in Chicago from August 15-17. The primary role will involve manning cameras during the event, and we are looking to fill approximately five positions. While extensive video experience is not required, candidates should be prepared to undergo training before the event begins on Thursday. All necessary equipment will be provided, so no personal equipment is needed. Candidates will be assigned to positions based on their ability to perform the most relevant tasks. The work environment is designed to be enjoyable, with many sporadic breaks throughout the day, including longer dinner breaks in the evening. Lunch, snacks, and water will be provided to all team members.

Responsibilities

• Manning cameras during the event.
• Participating in a training session before the event starts.
• Adhering to grooming and etiquette standards as outlined by the event organizers.
• Maintaining a professional demeanor while working in close proximity to high-end clientele.
• Following instructions from the Video Manager and addressing any issues that arise.

Requirements

• Willingness to work in a team environment and follow directions.
• Availability for the entire duration of the event from August 15-17.
