About the position

The Products Analytics & Operations Analyst at Teradata serves as a subject-matter expert in data analysis for the Products Organization. This role focuses on applying a data-centric mindset to provide insights that drive decision-making across the organization. Key responsibilities include analyzing trends, identifying gaps, and supporting operational initiatives that influence strategic direction, while fostering collaboration across various departments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject-matter expert for data analysis within Teradata's Products Organization.
• Analyze trends and identify gaps in data to support operational initiatives.
• Create meaningful metrics and enhance data standards.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to strengthen business operations.
• Leverage expertise in information architecture to drive data-centric decision-making.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, data modeling, and data architecture.
• Proven knowledge of data models (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema).
• Strong skills in SQL for data manipulation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to data normalization, indexing, and data relationship concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerBI/Tableau.
• Interest in Analytics, AI, and Large Language Models (LLM).
• Background in data structures and data architectures.
