About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including hotels, commercial spaces, and residential properties. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for guests and clients alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Sanitate surfaces, including restrooms, kitchens, and common areas, to uphold health and safety standards.
- Conduct thorough floor care, including stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed.
- Launder linens and towels according to established protocols in hotel or residential settings.
- Assist with custodial duties in commercial cleaning environments to ensure all areas are well-maintained.
- Support housekeeping management by following checklists and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service quality.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Requirements
- Experience in hotel or residential cleaning preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
