About the position

The Email Developer will be a key member of the Americas Customer Marketing Team at Under Armour, responsible for building and delivering engaging email communications that enhance consumer retention. This role involves leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud to execute customized email marketing campaigns and maintaining a content management system, while also documenting and optimizing email development processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute marketing email campaigns using custom HTML/CSS coding and scripting.
• Review briefs, manage workflow tools, and initiate campaign building.
• Build modules, emails, templates, and landing pages ensuring compatibility across clients and devices.
• Develop and execute test plans to confirm accurate email coding and rendering.
• Send proofs and configure final send and automation parameters.
• Create and update proof, seed, and live audiences.
• Configure user-initiated sends, A/B deployment tests, and automations.
• Analyze and compile key learnings from email campaigns to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with partners on email best practices and innovative content.
• Stay updated on trainings regarding best practices and new product features.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of general email marketing experience.
• 2+ years of experience with HTML/CSS for email marketing campaigns.
• 1+ year of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform.
• Working knowledge of email marketing technologies and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS coding with attention to responsive design.
• Experience with AMPscript functions and data extraction for dynamic emails.
• Understanding of relational databases and data schemas.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Desire to optimize processes and work collaboratively.

Nice-to-haves

• SQL knowledge preferred.
• Marketing or Programming background preferred.
