About the position

The Professional Dispatcher at Allied Universal is responsible for supervising and coordinating security services during a specific shift at a designated customer site. This role acts as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager, and security officers, ensuring quality service delivery and effective communication among all parties involved.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.
• Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Enforce contract standards and administer site safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for security officers.
• Utilize scheduling and billing software to produce reports that require interpretation and action for effective business management.
• Handle both common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional manner.
• Ability to frequently prepare written reports and logs.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.
• Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience and a clean driving record.
