In this position, you will be responsible for grooming and styling pets according to their owners' instructions or standard grooming styles, ensuring that each pet is treated with care and respect throughout the grooming process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include trimming nails, brushing teeth, cleaning ears, and accommodating any special requests from pet owners. You will also be tasked with maintaining a clean and safe work environment, routinely cleaning your work area and ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be answering client questions and keeping the receptionist informed about pets that are ready for pick-up. Responsibilities

• Trimming pets' nails, brushing their teeth, and cleaning their ears.
• Grooming and styling pets according to pet owners' instructions or standard grooming styles.
• Accommodating special requests that pet owners may have.
• Ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process.
• Routinely cleaning work areas.
• Recommending suitable products to pet owners.
• Answering any questions clients may have with a friendly attitude.
• Keeping the receptionist informed about pets that are ready for pick-up.

Requirements

• Must be a pet fanatic - pets are part of our family!
• 2+ years of professional grooming experience (required)
• Displays a professional manner at all times.
• Ability to work under pressure while still following proper procedure.
• Time management skills, patience, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to operate a phone, computer and learn facility software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with animal behavior, body posture and hair textures.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Creative Grooming and Asian Fusion techniques.
• Knowledge of various grooming products and their uses.
