About the position

The Traffic Engineer position is a fully remote role at a leading engineering firm on the East Coast, aimed at professionals with 5-10+ years of experience. The role involves managing various traffic-related projects and collaborating with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality solutions for top-tier clients.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in a wide variety of project types, including impact analysis, transportation modeling, traffic/parking studies, and area/corridor conceptual planning.
• Work collaboratively with a team of engineers and staff.
• Manage projects and staff.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience in traffic engineering.
• PE License in Connecticut.
• Experience with CTDOT standards.
• Microstation or AutoCAD experience.

Nice-to-haves

• PTOE certification (desired but not required).
• Experience with NYSDOT standards (preferred but not required).
