About the position

The Professional Full Time Overnight Security Officer position at United Protective Services involves providing security detail during assigned shifts, ensuring the safety and security of the site while maintaining a professional image and excellent customer service. The role requires constant awareness of surroundings and the ability to engage with clients and local authorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Immediate response to open shift coverage when dispatched by the management team.
• Knowledge of all local vertical markets to include engagement in conflict resolution on site.
• Assist clients with duties as assigned and aid in maintaining an orderly workplace.
• Train new personnel on the proper procedures and policies under the direction of management.
• Make decisions regarding the safety and security of the site with the aid of United Protective Services post orders.
• Maintain daily activity logs in accordance with post orders.
• Create incident reports for unique incidents on site.
• Observe and report all suspicious activity in accordance with post orders.
• Ensure all United Protective Services equipment is well maintained and accounted for before, during, and after each shift.

Requirements

• Must have superior customer service skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
