Responsibilities

• Project scoping and time estimating
• Manage projects and budgets
• Mentor, lead, and supervise the office division team leaders and managers
• Mentor, lead, and supervise the company internal survey quality control group
• Perform record research at Register of Deeds offices and other government entities as needed
• Prepare legal descriptions
• Sign and seal survey plans prepared and calculated under direct supervision
• Assist in drafting various surveys as needed.

Requirements

• Professional Land Surveyor License in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience and knowledge of survey field operations
• Ability to read and comprehend construction plans
• Knowledge of mapping standards, applicable laws, legal codes, and government regulations
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, focused, self-motivated, possess good work ethic, and be a team player.

Nice-to-haves

• 5 years of experience in land surveying (preferred)
