The Professional Relations Representative at Hospice of Okeechobee, Inc. is responsible for enhancing relationships with referral sources and increasing patient referrals and admissions. The representative will work closely with healthcare professionals and community organizations to promote the company's services and maintain a professional presence in the field.

Responsibilities

• Increase referrals and admissions through relationship building with referral sources.
• Educate potential referral sources about hospice services.
• Engage in marketing and public relations activities to promote the company.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and referral sources.
• Assist in patient referral functions to ensure timely access to services.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Comply with all state, federal, and local regulations.
• Participate in community and professional organizations to promote the company.
• Contribute to quality assessment and performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of professional medical sales experience preferred.
• Ability to promote service lines in competitive areas.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Willingness to travel throughout the designated service area.
• Ability to manage time and contacts effectively.
