About the position
AAY Security LLC is currently seeking dedicated and reliable Professional Security Officers to join our team at the Cheniere Corpus Christi Liquefaction facility in Gregory, TX. This position offers a competitive starting pay of $17.00 per hour, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. The work schedule consists of 12-hour shifts, operating on a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation, which allows for a healthy work-life balance. This structure enables our officers to enjoy family gatherings, outings, and personal time while maintaining their professional responsibilities. Selected candidates will be expected to follow directions meticulously, exercise good judgment, and maintain a high level of reliability in their duties. Candidates must meet specific minimum qualifications before their employment start date, including a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Texas Security License, a valid U.S. Driver's License, and a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). Additionally, applicants should have at least three years of security experience within the last five years, although this is preferred rather than required. Successful candidates will also need to pass a background screening and a DOT physical, which includes drug and alcohol testing. CPR and First Aid certifications are also required or must be obtained shortly after hiring. Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure the premises to ensure safety and security.
- Follow all security protocols and procedures as outlined by the company.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
- Assist in the enforcement of company policies and regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Valid Security License (Texas) (Required)
- Valid U.S. Driver's License (Required)
- Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) (Required)
- 3 years security experience within the last 5 years (Preferred)
- Ability to satisfactorily complete a background screening, DOT physical including drug & alcohol testing.
- CPR and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain.
