About the position

The Professional Services Consultant at Omnicell is responsible for guiding pharmacy automation and improving business outcomes in healthcare settings. This role involves advising customers on workflows, leading design conversations, and ensuring successful project implementations while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The consultant will also focus on enhancing clinical outcomes through intelligent technology and data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Understand Omnicell's products and solutions to advise customers and resolve technical issues.
  • Lead design conversations with customers to establish workflows and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Delegate project tasks to junior resources while influencing project timelines.
  • Manage end-to-end implementations of multi-product solutions.
  • Assist in resolving customer, project, and consulting issues.
  • Represent professional services on-site with customers in healthcare settings.
  • Lead discussions with various audiences to present solutions and explain technical issues.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction and project success in collaboration with project management and technical services teams.
  • Work with customers to optimize workflows and medication management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, or MIS.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting with an Associate's Degree or Professional Healthcare Certification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Proven experience managing multiple competing priorities and mentoring peers.
  • Experience with end-to-end implementations in healthcare settings.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to travel frequently and lift/push heavy equipment.
