About the position
The Talent Development Program (TDP) at Cemex USA is a 12-month initiative designed for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of the company's operations. Participants will rotate through various roles within the Ready-Mix division, developing essential skills and insights necessary for a successful career at Cemex.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety standards are met or exceeded across all operations by being trained in safety protocols.
- Participate in a structured rotational program covering different facets of Ready-Mix operations, including Safety, Plant Management & Maintenance, Fleet Maintenance, Quality Control & Project Coordination, Customer Service/Sales, Dispatch, Environmental, and Human Resources.
- Develop both technical skills and transferable soft skills through hands-on work, training sessions, and mentorship.
- Build a network of contacts and resources across the company, connecting with peers, mentors, and leaders.
- Contribute innovative ideas to the ongoing success of Ready-Mix operations.
Requirements
- Recent bachelor's degree in Concrete Industry Management, Construction Science Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- GPA of 2.5 or above, with a preference for those with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in analytical and presentation skills.
- Previous experience through internships, co-op programs, or university projects.
