About the position

The Program Director is responsible for overseeing the management and quality of services provided by the program, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards. This role involves leadership, staff management, quality assurance, financial oversight, and compliance with funder requirements, all while promoting the values of Resources for Human Development (RHD).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise program staff and maintain an organizational culture that promotes professionalism and quality care.
  • Ensure program team understands corporate strategic and service line operational initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor program metrics to ensure quality staff support and development.
  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, training, evaluation, and disciplinary processes for employees.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Directors to ensure trauma-informed and person-centered services are implemented.
  • Work with teams to ensure timely entry of services and related notes into the electronic health record.
  • Authorize program financial processes and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Communicate funder information to the program team and attend relevant meetings.
  • Monitor and ensure timely submission of required regulatory documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or business management from an accredited college.
  • 5 years of experience in a human service agency, including supervision, direct service, and program planning.
  • Knowledge of State Regulations and IDS Guidelines.
  • Ability to effectively use computers and relevant technology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage clients and staff in therapeutic interactions.
  • Criminal record clearances as required by assigned programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Spanish speaking and ASL preferred.
