About the position

The Program Administrator II for Health Services is responsible for supervising program personnel, including both clinical and non-clinical staff, and overseeing federal grants related to the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) program. This role involves coordinating procurement activities, managing the Maryland Infant Screening Database, and providing support to the MD EHDI Advisory Council.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise program personnel, including clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Oversee federal grants specific to the EHDI program.
  • Coordinate procurement activities for the program.
  • Manage the Maryland Infant Screening Database.
  • Provide staff support to the MD EHDI Advisory Council.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, social work, psychology, education, counseling, or a related field.
  • Six years of professional experience in health services, with three years in clinical or administrative services outside of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, or Addictions.
  • Three years of experience at the managerial or supervisory level.
  • Three years of experience managing federal grants.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in data management, surveillance, and program evaluation.
  • Knowledge of developing logic models, evaluation plans, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing budgets and finances.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.
