The Program Administrator for the Office of Health, Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity at Kennedy Krieger Institute plays a crucial role in supporting and coordinating research projects and public health training activities. This position requires a blend of administrative and research expertise, working closely with the Program Manager, Program Director, research mentors, and scholars from the Center for Diversity in Public Health Leadership Training. The Program Administrator is responsible for the implementation of various research initiatives, ensuring that all activities align with the goals of the Center for Diversity. This includes coordinating onboarding processes, organizing didactic activities, and managing travel arrangements for participants. In addition to administrative duties, the Program Administrator will be tasked with disseminating, tracking, and cleaning evaluation data for both active program participants and alumni. This role is pivotal in tracking outcomes and engaging scholars and alumni in meaningful ways. The Program Administrator will also provide essential administrative support to the Program Directors and the Assistant Director of the Center for Diversity, which includes training new staff members, fellows, and students on laboratory techniques and institutional policies. The responsibilities extend to collaborating with various stakeholders, including the Co-Director and Database Manager, to prepare data for federal reports, grant proposals, and academic manuscripts. The Program Administrator will review and approve applicants for the Center for Diversity Programs and provide mentoring to scholars in data management and research methodologies. Ensuring compliance with data security and privacy regulations is also a critical aspect of this role, along with maintaining program-related information for effective communication across partnering institutions. The Program Administrator will assist in the production of educational materials and ensure timely submissions of abstracts and regulatory documents, acting as a liaison between sponsor agencies and the internal study team.
