About the position

The Program Administrator at Avid Behavioral Day Program is responsible for overseeing the development, administration, and supervision of programs designed for adults with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses. This role focuses on implementing program objectives, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations while advocating for the well-being of program participants.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and support program goals in alignment with individual program plans.
  • Manage and supervise program staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial aspects of programs to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness and quality of services.
  • Monitor program activities to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Participate in program assessment, planning, and evaluation processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to program participants.
  • Uphold consumer rights and advocate for their well-being.
  • Address any incidents involving program participants promptly and effectively.
  • Build positive relationships with staff, community partners, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience providing Direct Care or Supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Proven experience in program management and administration.
  • Strong skills in relationship management and supervision.
  • Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health issues.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if transportation is required).
  • Ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary certifications (e.g., First Aid/CPR).
